Chris your big,blue eyes gives me a warning sign

you come back to haunt me everytime.

Jonny your guitar gives me a rush of blood to the head which turns me back in time

with the ticking clocks singing in my head.

Guy your brown hair makes me go yellow with joy

and with your bass playing there it makes me feel like flying high in the sky

with a parachute,and i don`t have to panic

im not in trouble coldplay will be in my bubble.

Will with his drums bash me a tune that will never change my love for coldplay

your drums take me home,hom where i wanted to go.

Now coldplay with you beautiful music which i listen to from daylight

come back to me

in my place

were everythings not lost

Ode to Coldplay

 

All day long your songs I hear

They echo softly in my ear

The songs I've heard so many times

The lovely rhythems, the clever rhymes

They take me back to a different place

When I didn't cry or hide my face

It seems as though the world is good

When songs are heard, lyrics understood

So Coldplay tho you know me not

I thank you for the music you wrought

I'll hold you dear within my heart

And let the sadness within me part.

these are some i wrote about seeing CP at Earls Court 16/4/2003

i posted them in the poetry thread, but seems more appropriate here ;)

 

Oh, the girls in the front want "shiver,"

so I hear. They're draped in gossamers

that the piano threads, the lights all shimmer

and the singer's perched in his web.

The girls cry "shiver,"

but the singer

plays something else instead.

 

rocking

pendulum

of skin and bone,

the sound of clocks

pulse in the cabinet

that holds the crowd

in place. The springs

are coiled tight

around their hearts

and the sound of its beat

is the soundtrack

of the night

 

Sing it out now

Wrap it in strands of candy floss

Feed me, I need a little sugar

I want candy coated pills

Of you to take when I get blue

And when the fever strikes me Yellow

 

Sing it back now

Drink it in like ruby wine

Seeps into the veins

Washes over the mind

Undulates in waves
