In America it's standard to get a job when you turn 16. You're supposed to be able to balance school, job, friends, and everything else to help you prepare for the real world.

so you screw up and you go back crying to your parents?

2. WORK and STUDY you say. maiby that's one of the reasons why american students are the students that get one of the most poor educations around the world.

 

when you are under 18 all you should think about is school.

not working.

working is for when you are out of college.

your parents should support you till that age.

1. shut up. you have no idea what anyone does with their money. I would never take my hard earned money and blow it on crap. I need to get a job to SAVE my money so I can go to a good school. Not everyone is rich enough to move to different countries and go to great schools. some people have to work for what they get

2. well what they hell school are you going to? not every school will be at the same level, it's that way ANYWHERE in the world. many many American schools are the best in the world for teaching you and preparing you for college and life.

 

we don't all do drugs, and people who stereotype Americans as druggies, careless with their money, or uneducated are stupid and naive.

 

you know nothing about hard work apparently, if you think you should just rely on your parents to pay for everything
