chuck kottke
I need your professional opinions on this: Should Gary from Fish Creek marry Marie Osmond? Gary's a comedian, and he's got the hots for Marie - and Gary's convinced Marie's a librarian type who needs a sensible down-to-earth husband who can bring out her wild side. :P Now granted Gary knows Salty Lake City (via delivery truck routes), but he has never met Marie Osmond. I cautioned him about her strong teeth that could leave more than just nibble marks, but he's convinced they were meant for each-other.;) What should I do? What would bring Marie and Gary together in some relationship? Does Gary really know what he's getting himself into?? Is a wedding involving a fish boil, unleavened bread, and cases of Blatz beer possible?:laugh3:
mc_squared
Have you been on the Gluehwein or something??:stunned:
chuck kottke
Gluehwein - Pardon?? It's a legitimate question - tell me what you think!:laugh3:
chuck kottke
Glogg yes, Gluehwein nay.:laugh3: But back to the all-important question. Please offer some feedback. It isn't like someone else we know hasn't married fame and fortune...

chuck kottke
Well, Christopher Martin married Gwyneth Paltrow, so these things aren't impossible! I told Gary he's gotta get famous first though - I think that helps.:) He's convinced that he has a future in either comedy or singing, but then that narrows it down to 1 in 1,000,000,000 odds. :laugh3: But hey, you just never know. For every 4 people that get struck by lightning, at least 1 wins the lottery!

Did you know she's an obsessive doll collector?
chuck kottke
Martin wasn't quite the sensation that Gwyneth was when they met, but basically that's true. Still, as far as wooing an actress, it works! So, Gary needs the singing career. Sheet rocking is not the kind of rocking that gets you noticed!:laugh3: Yea, I kinda thought that she might have a hobby like that. But that's better than getting hitched to a gal who earns her living dancing topless or bottomless.. (but then again, this is Gary, so he's fine with that too!). Hmm.. Obsessive Doll Collecting. Check.;)

Anyway, basically, she's a bit wacko.:P

Anyway, basically, she's a bit wacko.:P Well, wacko can be good at times.. Gary doesn't mind - he thinks she just needs some TLC from a normal person. And he's OK with the doll fetish thing.. :P I'll have to do a search on Marie..

Is he OK with that?
chuck kottke
:laugh3:Well, I mentioned that to Gary. He said he would even become a Mormon, if that's what it takes! Now of course this was after a few beers...:laugh3: But, he's afraid he'd never pass the vetting by the Osmond brothers..:) So, he's taking more time to come up with a plan. A scenario where all the stars align, etc. I've gotta give him credit for daring the near-impossible, and hey, we all like to daydream.. But I promised him I would make the effort to pull all the strings I can pull, and try and set him up on a date with Marie (once he comes up with a plan, that is..). :P & The doll fetish has got him a bit curious as well..
