:bigcry: I wish I could have appreciated them when they started :bigcry:

Me too. But I was about five when they first formed.

Actually the first Coldplay I ever heard was Clocks, but I looked around trying to figure out who did it and couldn't figure it out. Then I forgot about them until I heard Viva La Vida on the radio. And then I saw them on the Grammys and I was like, "oh yah I remember this song I really need to listen to Coldplay more, I only know of like two of their songs" and then I spent three hours on YouTube watching all of their music videos and interviews and being completely enraptured  I was so pathetic before I watched them on the Grammys. I didn't know a thing about them.

Then I listened to all the albums in backwards order and I came to like Parachutes the best

They've sold out.

...We could discuss that statement for HOURS, Paul :P

I sort of agree, though. You listen to them in articles and interviews and Chris is always saying how they wanted to make music to please people with Viva La Vida -- I mean they'd pleased millions beforehand, they didn't have to enlist Brian Eno and go all gung-ho into making a semi-pop album like Viva La Vida. Idk. I don't even particularly like many songs off it. Except I love Violet Hill. And Reign of Love. And The Escapist. (...but that's basically Jon Hopkin's song ANYWAY, so idk...) Also DAAHF.

Which, that's like a third of the album, but the rest of it I really don't like very much.

That's cuz you're old. And from the UK. They were always more famous over there.

Actually I also amend my above post; I really like Cemeteries of London, too.

And Lost! is not that bad too.

Btw, "parachutes first album", what's that?

Thank you, thank you ever so much.

Although if they'd released a FOURTH album that sounded exactly like they did before they would've gotten torn apart by the critics, and it might have been slightly boring. So that's anohter point you can make. But as it was they released a fourth album that was just poppy and so forth and that got torn apart by the critics too, and it wasn't more interesting to listen to than their other albums.

But imo they're still making their own music, it's just..... with Eno and Hopkins and stuff around, it.... Idk again. 'S'weird.

And Lost! is not that bad too.

I never like Lost! I like Lost? though. And I like Lost@ for some reason cuz the drum goes, like, BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM :surprised:

I don't know what you mean by "what's that?" XD

I'm back!

No one answerd :dozey: The difference is around the flower, a hint of 3D effect and I dont know if to have it there or not...

Almost all the music I listened to before I got relly into Coldplay was SHIT. I had Rhianna on my mp3 player and EVERYTHING. It was so fucking sad.

I don't actually mind that song but I do think that's odd. I'm not surprised that Chris would do independent collabs with Kanye and stuff but having a canon Coldplay song with rap in it is.... egghhh

I really like Homecoming with Chris, though. Is so catchy! Aloweeloweelowwwww... yep. now it's stuck in my head.

Yeah me too....

I liked... [this will be keept a secret!]

I liked.... 30 seconds to mars, Ahlee Simpson and some emo bands with extremly long names......... :shame:
