Drinking would be so much safer for everyone if it were legal. In America, the age is 21. A lot of people choose to drive home after drinking because they don't want to call their parents and ask for a ride, because they know their parents will get mad. If it were legal, everyone would just call their parents for rides and no one would care. Much safer world for everyone when you take out the illegality of it.

 

As for religion... Religion is dumb, but God isn't. You can't not have faith just because you don't agree with some old Catholic priest. I feel that religion is more of a personal thing, and you shouldn't let anyone else interfere with what you believe.

Yea often sending your kids to a Catholic school can have an adverse effect, because kids tend to associate the teachers of the religion with the religion itself, which is bad. I'd be a horrible person if I weren't a Christian...all the things I would do if I didn't believe in God would make my life just bad.

I couldn't agree more, Catholicism has been so tampered by man, it takes away from the religion itself. Being a Christian, we don't have some old virgin men telling us what to do, instead we can interpret the Bible any way we want, and live our lives the way we want, more in the way Jesus would want it.

What I'm saying is that kids are going to drink anyway, regardless of what the law is. Lowering the drinking age would eliminate kids' need to sneak around their parents and, in turn, make it safer. USA has a higher amount of accidents due to underage drunk drivers than any other country, and we have the HIGHEST drinking age.

My dad's really into the Jehovah's Witness... which is Christianity in a more uptight manner... he's been trying to get my family into it...but it's hard... and my mom...well she leans more towards Catholicism...that's how she was raised, in Mexico. So a fixed religion i don't really have....

Have you listened to a word I said? You can't prove that the amount of drunk drivers would go up if drinking under 21 were legal. It would go DOWN.
