The petite singer, who has spent the last three months on a gruelling UK tour with Girls Aloud, looked gaunt and drawn as she paid a visit to London's Bungalow 8 last night. Her usually clear alabaster skin was blighted by spots that not even thick foundation could cover up. The Out Of Control UK tour kicked off in Manchester on April 24 and the girls later made stops in Dublin, Belfast, Galsgow, Nottingham, Liverpool and London among others. Nicola has previously struggled with her heath on tour because of an undiagnosed iron deficiency and once almost collapsed before a performance. 'I broke down in tears before one of our shows because I felt so weak,' she said at the time. 'I was close to fainting, but I had no idea what was wrong with me. 'I just couldn't stop eating and I was always hungry.' At 5ft 5in, she usually weighs in at 8st but insists she'd prefer to be curvier. 'My weight fluctuates all the time and I actually feel better when I'm about 9st. I also have low blood sugar so if I don't eat often the weight falls off.' 'I have a fast metabolism, so I just don't put on weight easily.' The Size 6 star has revealed she feels shy about her small frame. 'I sometimes feel embarrassed asking for that size. Shop assistants look at me like I've got a problem.' Nicola and her fellow band mates, Cheryl, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle are taking the summer off from touring and are next due to perform as the support act for Coldplay in September.
