coldplaykb
I just found this video and it seems like these are the right chords. He says that he tunes the e string to C#. The singing isnt that great, but the chords sound accurate. princesanji
just wanted to say that your chords aren't correct, chris and that other guy are far above the 12th. and both are using the thumb for the ow e stiring (at least chris seems to love that, if you ever noticed that) i'll try to find out for you... and me... generally everybody who'd like to know .... ah, and have a look around here, there is some threads about it already

princesanji
you might want to try E A D G C# C# F#m: 14 16 16 14 0 0 Dmaj7: 10 12 12 11 0 0 A: 5 7 7 6 0 0 Esus4: 0 2 2 2 3 3 C#m: 9 11 11 9 0 0 that's a possibility
coldplaykb
I dont know. The Dmaj7 chord doesnt sound right. am i suppost to bar the whole 10th fret or....
princesanji
nope, 10 12 12 11 0 0 index ring pinky middle (open) for example like that.... you could also use your thumb on the low e string ( i recommend that, because it helps sliding up and down the neck with only changing one finger)
crestingwaves
Have you tried tuning your B string to an A. Then just playing F#m, D, A with the last two strings open the whole time.
princesanji
it won't work actually, that's not chris' sound

princesanji
yah, he does some tremolo picking with an so far unknown effect. maybe try delay/echo + loads and loads of reverb. i don't know the notes, but as far as i remember the song it starts kind of B|-15--16--15.........
