It's not the reading so much, it's that we have to keep a journal of analyzations and summaries about what we've read, and that journal is worth 15% of our grade, which is kind of a lot because he grades them quite harshly. And he never tells us when he's going to pick them up, so you absolutely can't slack off ever. And I've been slacking off. And I'm so screwed. x_x

Oh yeah, I had to do journals in 10th/11th grade, it sucked. But we could write them over the lectures too. Except I would procrastinate until they day they were due, and would have to write 10-15 one page journal entries in one night. God, I hated those so much D:
