Considering I've been listening to Sparklehorse for quite a while this morning, it wouldn't have surprised me if I had accidentally slipped in an ungulate inspired reference.

i remember i just started listening to him and then right away he killed himself :|

I saw him supporting Daniel Johnston at a gig a few years ago, met him backstage and then followed his music from then. Didn't like his work with Danger Mouse but I was looking forward to his next solo piece.

the danger mouse thing was how i found out about him, i forget if i liked it haha

Well that's the only one I don't have. I recommend Dreamt For Light Years..., that is how I got into him. Songs like Some Sweet Day, Shade And Honey and Don't Take My Sunshine Away are him at his more commercial best. Does some good Daniel Johnston covers too, like Hey Joe (on Good Morning Spider) and My Yoke Is Heavy (on the Distorted Ghost EP). I reckon you might like Daniel Johnston actually.
