I'm doing a music assignment for my brother and he has chosen to do it on Chris. One of the question's is about if they've had any training.

I know he has a vocal coach, but did he ever have piano lessons when he was younger?

Wasn't Chris' mum a music teacher?

I'm guessing she was the one that taught him how to play.

Does that count as formal music lessons?

yeah I already have written about his mum being a music teacher.

Well he went to boarding school and had formal guitar and piano lessons there. A teacher brought in a whole heap of old keyboards and he used to break into the music room at night to practice. Does that help any?

I know he had to get surgery on his vocal cords because he didn't have any professional voice training at first and he was singing very high notes etc. So since then he's had voice lessons.
