I know, its just another permutation of the numerous 'post your playlists' threads, but I'm bored and figured this wouldn't hurt.

 

Anyway, for the sake of seeing things from a new perspective I'll often listen to an album with the songs in reverse order, While albums are usually most effective in the order they're in, I've spent some daydream minutes figuring how to make an album 'work' by scrambling a few or most of the songs. Does anyone else do stuff like this? If so, post your rearranged coldplay albums. Here's a start.

I rarely listen to the albums anymore... I prefer live recordings so much more!

Recently I listened to VLV again however and was "surprised" by the track list because after hearing LIT I already have the beginning of VH in my mind to come next and after VLV it's Lost! etc :)

Well, I think it worked quite well as an opener. I made one rule: The opening track and the closing track have to have other roles. ;)

If you take notice I am follow my rule of not being allowed to use the same intro and outro. On the X&Y tour setlist Til Kingdom Come wasn't in the end, but in the main set.

Someone should make an ultimate X&Y One X album and one Y album who together are X&Y. Sort of like the album itself...

the rest of that list is good, I made a playlist out of it, but just excluded TKC. I guess the album version just doesn't sound good at all in the middle of 2 songs. May be just me.

 

 

Also, White Shadow's loud organ ending doesn't lead too well into "My song is love..." :P Would work if White Shadow had a fade-out ending.
