DANGEROUS VIRUS IN AN EMAIL WITH THE TITLE "INVITATION"

 

 

-it may be masked as an invitation from a friend - saying that it contains a PICTURE or pictures of OBAMA BIN LADEN hanged!!

 

 

It would be such a nuisance to get this computer-destroying virus!!

 

 

Tuesday evening I received an email (REFORWARD MAIL) from an American relative who received it from a friend / acquaintance.

 

It said "IMPORTANT!" - Reforward it to all your contact persons.

 

It said that "In the next few days many people will receive a DANGEROUS EMAIL with the title of INVITATION and it should show pictures of a CAPTURED OBAMA BIN LADEN HANGED.

 

 

If you open that email the dangerous virus will COMPLETELY DESTROY central parts of YOUR COMPUTER. It also said that for the time being McAfee has NO CURE against it.

 

 

So in case you receive such an EMAIL with a title such as "INVITATION - OBAMA BIN LADEN HANGED or HUNG" or the like - then DO NOT OPEN IT because it will DESTROY VITAL PARTS of your COMPUTER. It might be masked as "an invitation from a friend".

 

 

I received this reforward mail from a relative in the USA and she had confidence in it and sent it to all her family members and friends, and so did I.

 

I consulted Ian as to where this thread belongs and he suggested the technologicalized forum - so here it is!
