A guajolota is a torta of tamal. A torta is like a sandwich but made with a small mexican baguette, I think you call them dinner rolls. A tamal is just a traditional Latin American dish made of masa (a starchy dough, often corn-based), which is steamed or boiled in a leaf wrapper. So a torta of tamal is just bread + flour and flour.

 

why would they need a whole minute for that?

So people could make fun of them.

This is causing my support for the mexican team to dwindle. Donovan at least had good taste in his ads.

Donovan is an asshole if you ask me. But he's a good player.

But yeah this ad is awful, I guess it's like an epic fail so it will be reminded forever (thus somehow it's effective)

Typically I don't like him either, especially within the MLS, but he strikes me as pretty mature and dedicated when it comes to international play.

He's a dick anyway. BTW there are rumours here he might sign with MOnterrey, a good team with lots of money.
