Thirty years on, Adam Ant’s sense of style is not so immediately obvious.

The Adam And The Ants frontman, who had hits with Stand And Deliver and Prince Charming, made a shambolic appearance at London Fashion Week as he attempts

to relaunch his singing career.

Dressed in a bizarre mismatched outfit,the 55-year-old, real name Stuart Goddard,appeared wild-eyed and muttered incoherently to well-wishers.

The singer, who has long battled with bipolar disorder, dined at celebrity haunt The Ivy with a blonde companion, on whose floor he is believed to have been sleeping for some time.

Ant combined part of a black suit, leather fingerless gloves, silver and gold jewellery and a red top hat.

He was making an appearance at Naomi Campbell’s 25 years in fashion tribute party, put on by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

The Italian designers spoke of the supermodel’s contributions to the fashion industry and the celebrity filled event was also raising money for Pakistan's flood victims through Campbell’s charity Fashion For Relief.

A selection of the 41-year-old’s iconic black and white photographs had been printed onto white T-Shirts and autographed to be sold to raise funds.

She said she wants to raise as much money as she can and said: ‘I think not just of this disaster but all the ones over the last three years.’
