Clouds gather to form giant Afghan Hound in the sky By Daily Mail Reporter Last updated at 2:08 PM on 1st October 2010 Comments (38) Add to My Stories Perhaps it was a trick of the light, but as evening descended upon Giffnock, in Glasgow last night, the clouds appeared to arrange themselves in the shape of a giant dog. Looking not unlike an Afghan Hound, the wispy apparition was captured by photographer Robert Steel. The canine cloud hovered above homes, looking rather like a dog lying at its mistress’s feet. Canine in the clouds: This wispy formation, photographed in Glasgow last night, bears a remarkable resemblance to an Afghan Hound (below) But his mistress was elsewhere that evening – manifesting as a ghostly face in the skies above Clifton Downs, Bristol. Nola Hersey captured the bizarre visage on her iPhone while rambling in a park. She said: ‘We had been out for a walk and it was a lovely sunset so I stopped to take a few pictures. ‘Then I noticed a girl’s face very clearly in the cloud. It was amazing, you could see her hair and face very well. ‘It almost looked like she was wearing one of those Victorian wigs, it was very spooky. ‘If you look closely you can also see a hair band around her head.
