My mother is very sneery when it comes to teenage love :disappointed:

But it's good to see the majority vote yes.

I love how this very nearly turned into another raep thread

I was wondering what inspired the thread. :P

Absolutely not. You're still acting like an idiot when it comes to love.

Well, you do that your whole life.

lol, so it is never possible to be in love your whole life?

I think it is possible to be in love at 17-

but not so sure the maturity to stay in love at that age is there for most. Love changes, evolves, and grows . A 17 year old does not expect these changes, nor understands that each stage of love is as important and wonderful as the first sparks felt. :wacky::love:

It is very possible, yes.

I think some people are reading this question the wrong way.

17 year old people can definitely love. Definitely. You have the ability to love another person with all your heart, and no one can argue that. It would be ridiculous to say a teen can't love someone or be "in love".

I think the question here should be: are you mature enough at 17 to recognize true love and foster it? Because some might mistake "romance" for true love, and that's not right. Then it depends on the 17 year old to be mature. Because I know some teens who are way more mature than adults twice their age.

omg

edit: but yeah.. I think you can.

I think so

I'm 17 and I have never been in love tho.

oops I voted no. oops.

Crazy, considering it was a blind date.

I had to look that up because I didn't know what it meant; although I had a pretty good guess!

Sometime... probably... :inquisitive:

Aaaww, it was fate.

I used the phrase 'up the duff' to rhyme with 'married 'n' stuff'.

Btw - what's 'n' stuff? :inquisitive:

Your eggs are drying up. :whip:

I don't see why people would think you can't.

You know Tom Jones ? He have been marriedd with he's wife since they where 16 .. :D and Now they're kinda 70 .... I call that true Love :D

there is a couple in my village and she was 15 when they started going out....and now they are around 40 and they still look like they are really happy....I think it is rare
