Erland and the Carnival are a British rock/folk band formed in London by ex Verve guitarist Simon Tong, David Nock formally of The Cult and Orcadian folk guitarist/singer Erland Cooper. A very good upcoming band. Check them out.

I like the sound of their music. It's like erm, a little 'hollow' and 'dark' in a good way.

Have to admit I grew up in the same place as Erland Cooper in the Orkney Isles so I certainly know where the folk influence came from. Lovely place to go in the summer. Recommend the place big time.

I really do recommend the album. It's fabulous. Only cost me £7.

It would cost me 170 kroner which would be 17 pounds I think.
