Josh42
Vetusta Morla is an alternative rock band originally from Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain, that sings in Spanish. After being together for 9 years, they released their first studio album, Un Dia en el Mundo (A Day in the World), which received great praise from both the public and critics. Powerful vocals, lovely, coldplay-ish instrumentals, and inspirational lyrics (if you can understand them). They just dropped a new album, and it could very well be my favorite album in the spanish language. Here's the first track: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQXZS_vbwBw]YouTube - LOS DÍAS RAROS, vetusta morla (Mapas), los días raros, LETRA, VETUSTA MORLA, MAPAS (CALIDAD HD)[/ame] Another song from the new album which seems to be an early favorite for most people: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVKil-K7Nu4]YouTube - Vetusta Morla - Boca en la tierra (Mapas)[/ame] A song from their first album: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mw2cy_7rWF0]YouTube - Vetusta Morla - Copenhague[/ame] One of my favorite music videos ever because of the simplicity and the unexpected ending: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K5UrzaKgaY]YouTube - Otro día en el mundo - Vetusta Morla[/ame] I didn't want to say it before they released a second album, but now I can say that they could very well be my favorite artist in the spanish language. Enjoy.
