September 18, 201114 yr No problem. Is it true that in America it's a name for girls? Cause here in Croatia it's a name for boys. :)
September 18, 201114 yr I know a girl called Fran (well you say it like that not sure if it's written like that :blank:)
September 18, 201114 yr Author What do you think of these lyrics? Do you understand the meaning? :) EDIT And the summer came to end Threw me back to land I'm not careful where I stand I'm here alone on the strand Where all the victims came to die And all that tears will never dry I'm losing my life in the sky I'm losing but do I have to deny? And I'm again alone How are you dear? Is it again just me And my friend called fear? If the sky won't open up for me Could you tell me, please, who will I be? Everything I have ever done is lost Am I still yours, or am I just a ghost? And I'm again alone How are you dear? It's again just me And my friend fear? Yeah, I'm again alone Is that you dear? You made me trust In my friend fear HAI FRAN! I like these lyrics, and I can definitely understand them in the context of overcoming your fears. And I love the imagery that the first verse brings to mind :wacky: But the last word in the first verse (strand) I have a hard time following . . . maybe change "strand" to "sand"?
September 18, 201114 yr HAI! ...ColdplayingfromKansas (what's your name?) :) Well, isn't strand - a beach? I know it's a beach in german, but wikipedia says also in english: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strand If not, it's no problem changing it to sand. :)

September 18, 201114 yr Author Well I've never heard of a strand being used a beach before. I haven't either  But if that is what it means then I think it fits perfectly, sand was just an alternate suggestion :P Usually strand is used as a verb (and then usually in the past tense as 'stranded) or paired with another noun (strand of hair). I'm Alex, by the way :D
September 18, 201114 yr You don't say it like this http://translate.google.com/?hl=hr#hr|en|fran, but you say it like this http://translate.google.com/?hl=hr#en|hr|fran. But that man speaks bad xD
