Here is a snippet of a song I'm working on, called Demons. This is just an instrumental - I'm far from finished recording and mixing it.

Appreciate all comments :P And I appreciate advice. What do you think I should do with it to get it "quite there"? Should I add more sounds do it; or strip it down, or is it the mix, etc?

Hm maybe because of the weird drums and that efect.

It reminds me of winter a little :thinking: But it sounds a little cheap.

I would leave piano only cause that's definitely a good part. Then start thinking about it again and try to search for new sounds ideas. Or maybe just leave the piano and guitar? Or no.

Or you can ignore my opinion and leave it the way it is : D

I liked the last idea, that sounded kind of awesome:lol: Haha, no, but I can try experimenting with some new sounds as well, sure. This is actually the only song where I use so much synth sounds, think I'm gonna post some of them here in the instrument room (not with vocals, though. Have to by a better mic).

I see you wanted it to be an experiment. But I think that you shouldn't hurry, cause that's not a good thing. Maybe change the synths, use other effect? Or try to do something with the organs they're cool too, but don't know if they'll match for this one.

Well, perhaps it sounds a bit sped up as an instrumental, but actually, with the vocals, it almost has to be slowed a bit down. Maybe an electric guitar will sound good in there, agreed :laugh3:
