Flashing MX Wristbands working again?

Featured Replies

Hi everybody,

I wonder if anyone knows how to get the Flashing wristbands working again?

I got mine from last weekend show in Ahoy in Rotterdam.

And I really want to get them working again without opening en messing around with the wristband itself.

I read some stories about RFID en WIFI, but nothing concrete.

So does anyone know how these flashing wristbands work?

Many thanks!

Hello!

I have been asking this myself and some other people really want to know about how they get them activiated again, so I made a thread about this here:

I asked my father about it, because he might know how to get them flashing again, just watch this thread for news :)

I've sussed the wristbands!!

Just came back from the London Gig, been tampering with the wristbands and know how to get them working again!!

Take all the screws out the back of the plastic box, test the battery and contact by sqeezeing it together, it should come on when u sqeeze it. Put the back back on the box but don't tighten the screws down fully, keep sqeezing it as ur doing this to check it still lights up. U should get to a point where the screws are tight enuff to hold the back on but loose euff to for the box to act as a button so u can maunally operate the light!

Job done!! Keep on Coldplaying!!

Haven't tried paperclip method, does it stay permenantly on? Good thing about my method is u can turn it on and off when u like!!

^ Nope it only goes on when you put the paperclip in :p although when I was trying it with mine the other day, I managed to make the paperclip stay in and make it stay lit up/flashing by itself :o was pretty cool just having it sat on my desk watching as it flashed by itself with a paperclip in it!

I tried it today, it works :) It didn't flash, but it did stay on continuously with the paperclip in it!!

How have u got it in so u dont have to hold it on or wriggle it???
