YellowTeardrops13
Okay, so I have been looking around and I can't seem to find any of these items! The only things I have been lucky to find are the LITii CD and 7", and Vilot Hill 7". Does anyone know where I can find these, at least reasonably priced?:\
doritji
Ebay is your best bet. They only pop up affordable every once and a while, but the Violet Hill promo and regular CD singles, should be there all the time (at a good price).
YellowTeardrops13
Yeah, I just checked. Holy crap did they have a HUGE load of them! Although quite a few of them were pretty pricey. I also saw that they had a Charlie Brown CD and a Paradise CD but they were like $40! Maybe, if it's possible, I will try to get those. Do any of you guys think between Viva la Vida and their 6th album, they will have another 7" singles collection with the singles from Viva la Vida, Prospekt's March, Mylo Xyloto, and whatever is on their 6th album? I REALLY need those singles (7" and CD's), to complete my collection!
Cheese Nip 2
^ That would be great! I'm a big 7" fan, and they are very hard to come by, and I'd love to add some Viva 7" to my collection. Also which singles did they release on 7"? I know LiTII was and Violet Hill, but was Viva La Vida or any of the others?
YellowTeardrops13
Just Violet Hill and LITii were made for 7", but all of their singles and eps were made on CD. Also, when a promo CD comes out, where do you get them? I live in New Hampshire, and the only one I have seen around is the Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall single. 66
eBay, GEMM, musicstack and netsoundsmusic are all great sources for any item. Price compare, and be sure to watch shipping charges (obviously in country is a whole lot cheaper than international charges). Good luck!
YellowTeardrops13
Well, those are good for finding ones that have already been released, but what I want to know is if there is a specialty store that sells them/gives them out once they are released. 66
Nah, shops get them the same way you and I do. Pro's are distributed to various agencies, and those that receive them oftentimes sell them. If you're looking for cds distributed for sale, you can find them anywhere (tho I'm sure you knew that). If you establish a good reputation with a seller, many will offer rarer items to you, before listing them to the public. Hope this helps somewhat. :-/
YellowTeardrops13
Well, I'm looking for the ones I listed above, and I'm also looking for any other ones that come out for Mylo Xyloto. I already have the Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall CD. I have seen one for Paradise, but it was recently taken off. The newest one that's out is Charlie Brown, and I have also only found that one on eBay, as well. Could I possibly find one in a Newbury Comics store (a mix of Hot Topic and FYE)? Denise
Not 100% sure, but unless you're talking about a music shop that sells also used cds, I don't think you can find promos there. From MX only ETIAW got a classic cd available in shops, Paradise and Charlie Brown are both promos so your best bet is ebay, gemm, musicstack and the likes, same goes for the two different Lost promos, Lovers in Japan and Strawberry Swing. That said, there's no harm trying : )
66
eBay and EIL aside, like Denise mentioned, several other sites are good for your search. I was perusing a few for newly listed merch this morning, and found a couple links for you. I'd still price compare, but if they help...
