I get them very occasionally, because I wear extended-wear contact lenses.

It usually only means I suffer some discomfort and have to rely on the vison of one eye for about a week.

It means I can't play tennis, though, which is pretty frustrating.:(

My younger brother had trouble with his eyes--contacts drove him crazy--he had Lasik surgery---what a difference it made---no contacts or glasses now---ever think of that?

Yeah--they say money can't buy happiness--maybe so--but darn I'd like to have enough so you don't have to worry about paying the bills. BTW my brother's Lasik surgery cost $1600---it will pay for itself in the long run.
