Model of Martin guitar played....

Featured Replies

Hi. I'm sure this has been answered before, but I can't find anything in the old posts.

I am wondering what guitar Chris Martin plays in "See You Soon" from the live 2003 dvd, as seen here: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsz-EeNZBkI]Coldplay - See You Soon - YouTube[/ame]

I know that the guitar is a Martin, but I'd like to know which model, in particular. It has an amazing sound.

Also, please explain how you know if you do answer

Thanks a lot,

MF

I used to know the model number. I'll see if I can dig it up. I do know that that particular model has been discontinued.:(

Still no answer

Hey, everybody. I still haven't gotten any reply - private or, obviously, otherwise.

Please help!

I believe it's a Martin 000C-16RGTE

Chris Guitar

I believe it is a Martin DC15E acoustic electric cut-a-way. This model has been discontinued and replaced with the D15M, which you see Chris playing in many of his recent stuff. Chris also plays the smaller sisters to the D15M, 0015M and 00015M. :D

Chris' Guitar Model (a.k.a Martin's Martin)

Anyone knows what model he was using yesterday at the 12.12.12 gig?

Also I know he normally uses Martin guitars, does anyone know the models he normally plays lately on tour etc.?

Thanks :nice:.

To me it looks like a Martin D-28 Dreadnought.
