I Saw a video from Coldplay side stage, include instrument midi rigs. there was "Triton Rack" and "Muse Research Receptor". the technician (Miller / @Millerworld) also mentioned that the Fix You organ came from the "Triton Rack"

oh thanks man, i really appreciate it! but there's a problem...i can't read music, so i play by ear...or as I say by eyes! everything i've learned is by watching what chris is playing on the keyboard...so i cound the hammers down, the keys down, i look at his hands, and so I can play exactly the same chords or notes! I know it may sound weird,and it is...imagine how many videos you have to see to spot every single chord on the song, but that's the result :) the notes i play in the scientist are exactly the same that plays chris, so this is the only "correct" version of it, let's say it's not an interpretation :) so if you want i can make a video where you can see the keyboard from a better view ;) oh btw if you want a video to compare my version you can have a look at this :) except from the intro, mine is taken from the itunes festival live!

Yes please :wacho: I dont have an actual piano with hammers so it's hard for me :P

 

And I taught myself how to read music (hard time with rhythms though) so I know :lol: You should learn though!

oh i don't have hammers, I count the hammers in the videos to know which key he's pressing, since you can't always clearly see them :) yes i know i should, same story with the guitar! i'll do a cover of yellow as soon as i can, both with the piano and the guitar :D

Er... don't you know what that "very rare rack module" is? :D

The rack module you are talking about is a custom made rack that Dave Nally made of a keyboard "Kawai Mp9000" that was the one Chris used under the Parachutes era.

Chris loved that piano sound so much, so they used the Yamaha GT-20 (midi out) to trigger the sound from Mp9000 (midi in).

They probably made the custom rack to travel more lightweight because the keyboard is really heavy.

On the rack you can see in the video with Coldplay's technician, you can actually see that it's marked as Mp9000 rac.

If you want the sound just buy a used Kawai Mp9000, you can't buy them new since they are discontinued.
