1. I was hoping to see if the song would aired by now since I stayed at school until 11PM but alas not. :sleeping2:
2. The person who wrote probably graduated Univ when I was in Middle school so it's anyone's guess haha
3. Lol, here's the actual scan.
4. Actually, I looked into it and it purposely got cut off! The on the next page (this was at the very bottom of the first page) had no continuation of the article since the intent was to make a cruddy newspaper!
5. If any of you recognize that headline title, I want to personally congratulate you on what you've created. I go to school at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, and I work for the school newspaper called The Avion. Every April Fools, we produce a "mock" satirical version of the paper called the Avioff where the writers could essentially do whatever they want. I was digging through the archives and found this gem from the 2005 Avioff. Now, there's no way to know who wrote this (we would use fake names) so it's anyone's guess an
6. Well according to the news part of Coldplaying, there's a song that's set to be released this Saturday. So who knows, maybe AHFoD is coming sooner than we thought.
7. I don't know, I like the song a lot. It's not "poppy" but more Ballard driven which is what I think a lot of us were looking forward to with A Head Full of Dreams. It's kind of like a cross between a Rush of Blood to the Head and Ghost Stories, though this comparison might not be entirely true. Whatever you classify this song as, I like it and I want more of it.
8. Again, Chris uses custom sounds so there's no way to get the same sound as him. You can however Google the keyboard that Chris got from Paltrow's father and try to sample that sound.
9. As I mentioned in another post, Chris uses a custom sound pack for VST. Someone on the forum, who actually bought the same piano Chris uses, found some of the sounds Chris used and made a video showcasing it. The organ sound from Fix You is from a keyboard Gwyneth Paltrow's dad gave to Chris just before he died.
10. Can Goodbye and Goodnight get an official release? Like that's the one demo song that I've been really dying to see a release of
11. Nice eye, I think it is Guy's Bass. Considering the song was pretty easy, I think it wasn't a problem for Jonny to play bass.
12. This is really cool! Reminds of the map we had in Scrappy  Eatontown, NJ Wish I Was Here
13. There's a thread in this section that has a majority of them. Search Moses Guitar Tabs in the search box.
14. Chris uses some custom VSTs on his Yamaha GT20 that's looped through a MIDI board. There was a thread in the Instrument Section, (I've been looking for it for the past 10 minutes and can't find it even though I saw it yesterday,) and someone found a 3rd party VST pack that had a similar sound pack to what Chris uses.
15. The Musicnotes sheet music is pretty accurate but the song is really complicated thanks to the chords Chris uses. I'll post a video of how I play it.
16. Unfortunately the STEM files for the song aren't around so I can't make you one. The only thing you can work with is the official instrumental, but that has the instruments.
17. Something that I noticed with sheet music publishers is that you get a 50/50 chance of getting a really good and proper transcription; Hal Leonard and Musicnotes.com are notorious for this. However, HL does publish "Band Books" (I forgot what they're really called) that actually have very accurate transcriptions for all the instruments in a particular song. They usually sell the books as a collection of songs from a certain artist, and I've only so far came across the Band Book for the Beatles. I doubt they'll do this for Coldplay, and it's really a shame since theses books are damn accurate.
18. Here's something from the B-Sides book that came out during the X&Y Era. It's a pretty simple song but very awesome to play on piano. https://www.dropbox.com/s/p53jyldh69x29j0/Things%20I%20Don%27t%20Understand%20-%20Coldplay.pdf?dl=0
19. As requested by Aviv201498, here are some rough piano chords for Gone But Not F Cotton. The song is very interesting because it's kinda like Coldplay took a bunch of their songs and threw it into a blender because this song really borrows a lot; You have bits of In My Place, Green Eyes, and even Prospekt's March. Gone But Not F Cotton is in the key of A and usually just switches around from Amaj to Dmaj so the chords, with the variations I'm about to list, are open to interpretation. I just hope there's gonna be some sheet music for this song since it's a really nice song. Plus you can s
20. Also next time, post this in the instrument thread since that's where threads like this are usually located.
21. Does anyone have a high quality mp3 of this they're willing to share? I don't wanna rip it off of YouTube because it's gonna be 192kbps :P
22. I'll see if I can get working on them. Seems very easy to play. [EDIT] Here's the link to the thread I made containing my chords that I found by ear.
23. Good Christ i haven't been on this bit in 2 years. Where is it lol
