hi! is anyone here into stuff like Visual Basic, PHP, CSS, MySQL, and a bunch of other sutff like that?

 

i've been working on PHP for some time now and i kinda suck at it. i'm hoping to improve though...i'm currently working on getting form data into a database using a PHP form but i haven't succeeded in making it work....does anyone have any ideas?

I'm studying computing A Level so I should know loads about programming. But I actually suck at it and I'm probably going to fail computing :rolleyes2:

^ don't say that...there is always room for improvement...just coz you suck at it now doesn't mean that you're gonna fail...

 

i suck at it too but i find it very interesting....i hated Visual Basic so much in high school but after some time it grew on me...i still suck at it though but i understand the major concept.

as for command....i dunno much about that one...i just use it to find out what my ip address is!! :p

I have a degree in Computing in Computer Applications and Support and I am currently studying for a degree in IT. Management.

I have knowledge in html,css,sql,asp.net,javascript and vb

wow! that sounds good! i'm doing mine as a hobby...i've been into html since i was 11, i got into PHP about a year and a half ago...i know CSS too... but i'm not an expert :D

 

i did some VB at school but i sucked at it

My next project will be developing some applications for Windows 8 - its part of college,be starting that in a few weeks.

php is interesting. it's difficulty depends on how you see it but after practicing it for sometime it starts to make more sense and there are some really good resources out there that help so that makes it easier to find a solution.

 

as for projects, i was working on something with css and a little bit of javascript. i don't really understand java so i suck at it.
