Want together a new guitar and play learn the coldplay songs

 

Wondered what guitar would be best?

Well, I don't understand what you mean by 'who at guitar the most' but the two main guitarists in the band are Chris & Jonny. With Chris on the acoustic and electric and Jonny on the electric.

 

Chris plays a Martin acoustic and Fender Deluxe (please correct me if I'm wrong)

Jonny mostly plays a Vintage '72 Thinline Telecaster, with his other guitars being a Fender Stratocaster and Les Paul Gibson.

 

If you're interested in playing the electric guitar and not wanting to spend a lot of money (a Vintage Thinline is over £1000 here) you could opt for a cheaper Squier. There is such thing as a Squier thinline and can be used to play Coldplay songs very well.
