Producers appreciation post :)

I don't know if this is already a thread but..

So iv'e been looking up individual coldplay songs on wikipedia lately, and I've noticed that my very favourite coldplay songs have been produced by jon hopkins

The fact is, that beautiful, ethereal, other worldly synth and effects isn't actually coldplay at all. Its people like brian eno, and jon hopkins, and paul epworth etc...

Don't get me wrong, it's still coldplay who write the melodies, lyrics, guitars and drums. But i've been looking up their music lately and been blown away by the pure talent. For example:

Sound familiar? its the music on live 2012 also. coldplay sampled this song for the escapist. All of Jon Hopkin's music is breath taking. I urge you all to listen to him, especially the monsters soundtrack.
