I'm wondering in this day and age why Coldplay doesn't produce a bluray disc option with a TrueHD or DTS-MA surround sound option of their original albums (not the live albums - of course they have those in surround). I think this would be a nice option if done in good taste and not gimmicky sounding. Pink Floyd's new instrumental release Endless River is a good example as it sounds absolutely incredible on a good home theater system. I could imagine Ghost Stories would have been equally impressive.

 

Of course the 2 channel option would always be available for those uninterested. I may pose this question to Oracle unless someone here can point to an interview or other tidbit that addresses my question. Thanks.
