Hello there,

Thank you for clicking my thread. I'll be brief...

I need your help, I have a dear friend who has shoved her friends and her family away. She wont listen to anyone anymore. I need to reach out for her, but I can't do it alone. That is why I am hoping to petition to Coldplay to deliver her a message along with a song during their upcoming tour which she will attend. Please Helpe Me garner attention.

If you can, tweet using the hashtag #supportcrazycoldplayconcertRequest.

I wish you the best!

Hi,

I don't wanna dampen your enthusiasm, but chances of success for that are pretty slim i would say. Coldplay sometimes dedicate songs to particular persons by shouting out their name before the song like "For XYZ !", but from what I remember this has mostly been done for young people who battle heavy diseases such as cancer or are terminally ill.

I just looked at your Twitter and I would suggest you start by writing what exactly this is about - the hashtag itself contains no information whatsoever concerning what you are actually requesting. No one is gonna retweet or support a hashtag that no one knows what it means. So start by writing a short text or image with text about the situation.

Once you have done that you can try to contact other fan accounts and ask them for support. To answer your PM quickly as well, I have very few followers on Twitter compared to other people but I'll RT it if you write about your request.

You could also try to contact the band (Debs Wild) directly using the contact form on the website.

You could also try to make an Instagram request video according to the rules and mention your friend in it, if you choose something like In My Place or GPASUYF it might get chosen and played at the show.

Good luck anyway :)

Yep, if you request In My Place or Don't Panic your chances of being chosen are a bit higher. And make sure to follow the rules~ as described here http://coldplay.com/request-a-song-to-be-played-at-the-asian-shows/ (don't know to which show your friend is going but it's the same for all the concerts). Also try the contact form on the website as I Ran Away said. Good luck!
