With the release of A L I E N S this morning there are now quite a few songs Coldplay have released with that dark old school original vibe. I thought it would be cool to make some kind of concept album of songs which fit this brief of original, dark and old school coldplay vibes. Track listing is actually really fun, imagining what would open and close the album.

What do you guys think? Imagine if these songs were released in an album in lets say 2011 or 2014, 2015 etc. Could this challenge their earlier albums?

seems good, though i think i would personally replace Everglow with Ghost Story... and maybe Magic with All Your Friends also

haha, i mean it's up to interpretation! i could see how those original two songs would fit on there, but All Your Friends and Ghost Story definitely have more of a dark sound to them musically than Magic and Everglow :D

Nah I kinda had Magic in there cause its an epic but didn't really fit the brief i set up. Ive got A L I E N S blaring so i had a bit of a mental block leaving out two epics aha
