Congratulations. :D

If nothing else, we can see between last night's game and the 7-2 win over Toronto how ridiculously dominant the Flyers can be when they've got a fire lit under their asses.

Woooo....go flyers!

Man, when the flyers score, they REALLY score. 6-2....man, crazy. :stunned:

Yeah, think about that... they beat Martin Brodeur in five games, and they've made the two best goalies in the league who AREN'T Martin Brodeur look completely inept and be pulled from the game without even making it halfway through.

WE'RE COMIN' FOR YA, LORD STANLEY!

*breaks into nhl HQ*

*kidnaps lord stanley*

*brings him home to ottawa*

*proceeds to drop him in the canal*

Tomorrow, IN OUR HOUSE!! BRING IT ON, TAMPA!!

Hmm.... if the Lightning are like most other sports teams that come through here, I'll bet I know which hotel they're staying at downtown. :sneaky:

you should go pay them a visit :sneaky: :D

When Tampa was playing montreal, i lived 10 mintues from the hotel they were staying at. There were all sorts of hockey fantatics waiting outside to meet some of the players. :)

Oh, I'll "meet" them all right. ;)

Actually, one time I happened to be walking past the fancy hotel downtown where most famous people stay and John Elway of all people walked out of the front and into a limo.

*gets out flamethrower* :cool4:

btw, they have actual flamethrowers go off in calgary's arena when the flames score. you can feel the heat from your seat, and the torches are near the main scoreboard. :D :wink3:

I can't even remember the last time I watched a game in which Calgary was the home team.

I'm very much an east-centered hockey fan.

Yeah, I should start checking the concert schedule just to see if anybody's playing that's probably staying there that I could "meet."

I met Mats Sundin last year during the Leafs Skills Competition..and when i say "met" , i mean i waited outside for them to come out and i hounded him. Don't call him a goooon!

BOOOOOOOOO!! :P

I'm starting not to like the fact that sports and news are in the same forum, because I have to look at that thread I started earlier right next to this. It makes me feel like an idiot that I care about sports when there's stuff like that going on in the world.
