Is Chris Martin having a laugh? We've got video of the star singing a duet with Ricky Gervais and it is sidesplitting. The usually pitch-perfect Chris is totally out of tune singing Coldplay classic Fix You with Ricky equally tone deaf on backing vocals. The duet is taken from the new Extras Series 2 DVD, in shops on March 26, and has never been shown on British TV. Ricky is actually playing Andy Millman’s alter-ego Ray Stokes, the star of fake sitcom within a sitcom When The Whistle Blows.

The rumor on Coldplay's involvement in Swizz Beatz new album is finally confirmed true. The rock band is going to perform its score in the track "Part Of The Plan". No report yet as to which member and how many of them are contributing in this song. The closest probability is pointed to the lead singer, Chris Martin who is also in process of producing song "Homecoming" for Kanye West's new album. "Part Of The Plan" is going to be Swizz's second single from the album "One Man Band Man" afte

Swizz Beatz has already hit the mixtapes and clubs with his single, "It's Me, Bitches." The radio friendly version, "It's Me, Snitches," has gotten some spins and now, he's speaking about what he calls his first real album One Man Band Man. "I was just drunk," he told Billboard of his first single. "I didn't want to go out to the club, so I just chilled in the studio. I knew I had a concept for the song, so I went in the booth and it just came out." Although the album will feature production

The British alternative rock band Coldplay said on Sunday that it plans to return to the studio after a two-year hiatus to record an album that will have a different sound from "X&Y," which has sold more than 2 million copies since it was released in 2005. The new album features what Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin called a quintessential song that everybody should hear "before we die." In early December 2006, it was announced at Billboard.com that the next album was set for release in

Martin has said the follow up to 2005's 'X&Y' will see the band trying out new things. After an 8-hour flight from Sao Paulo, we arrived in Mexico City yesterday morning. The stark social inequalities were so apparent in Brazil, and things are no different here. There is a burgeoning middle class in Mexico, but a huge proportion of Mexicans are trapped in poverty, with few signs that things are going to change anytime soon. The press here have picked up on a quote from Chris that Oxfam put out before the tour started. Chris says that Mexico is a great country with delicious tort

Well, finally Coldplay are in Mexico. I was in last night's gig and it was brilliant. The way they connect to people is great, as their way to play live. Chris speaked in spanish all the time I remember some things he said like: How is our favourite audience in the whole world? And he asked for silence while they played 'til kingdom come also in spanish! I think Chris & Johnny were really exited, when the played In my place, Chris came out of the stage and ran through the left hall and I c

It's the morning after another incredible show here in Sao Paulo. The band are loving this tour - the audiences are amazing, and because they're playing smaller venues than normal, the boys are feeling really connected with the audience (mostly because Chris only has to reach out and the front row grab hold of him!). And what's great is that the campaigning here in Brazil is going fantastically well too. We're definitely the most popular stall in the lobby - I feel like we're putting one over
