Translated Article [Thanks marianatsl] Coldplay's Chris Martin lost his british good manners and gave ironic answers to journalists during this afternoon's press conference in Sao Paulo. The dry tone came up when the questions started to involve his wife, Gwyneth Paltrow. First, when questioned about his 3 favourite movies starred by the actress, Chris Martin simply asked for the "next" question and followed by that, asked the journalist what was "his favourite sexual position". After that

Sorry for coming only now, I've just arrived home after almost 8 hours between airports and planes (I live far far away from São Paulo). Unfortunately I couldn't join the group to see the boys in the hotel because I was with my boyfriend (and he hates Coldplay) and he was already going to the concert with me it was too much to ask to go to the hotel... Anyway I feel that part of me was there with people from ColdplayBR.com and I feel almost as happy as them!! And, of course, listening to their s

Coldplay brought their Twisted Logic tour to São Paulo yesterday for a sold out concert at Via Funchal. The band asked all bars inside the arena to close 15 minutes prior to the show, not allowing any further sales of alcoholic drinks. Rodrigo Santoro and girlfriend Ellen Jabour [pictured] were there. There are more pictures of the concert at UOL and Terra and here [thanks KITTYBERRYMAN]

Hi. We're in Sao Paulo in Brazil now. It's been a crazy couple of days. I arrived on Saturday night, feeling a little worse for wear after a heavy night in Buenos Aires on Friday. I was lucky enough to go for dinner with the band to a lovely restaurant. Then we went for a few drinks, which turned into a few more. Well, if you can't enjoy yourself on tour with Coldplay when can you?! Suffice to say, I paid for it on the flight from BsAs to SP! On Sunday I met up with Jandira and Renato. Jandira

It all started on the 25th, when all of us (from coldplaybr) went to the airport to try to see Coldplay arriving. After 3 hours of waiting and a lot of anxiety and crossed information, we got to know that the band had already left through an alternate exit. I went, along with Ana and Edu (people I met at the airport), by car to the hotel, to try to get there before the band, but no luck. As soon as we arrived we were informed by a group of girls that were already there that the band had arrive

Coldplay have been criticised here for the price of the tickets for their concerts. The ticket prices are not set by the band - in fact they were unaware how expensive they were until someone told them here in South America. They were very upset that this was the case, and gave away a whole bunch of tickets for free in Santiago and then in Buenos Aires. Read the rest of the updated Oxfam Tour Blog.

Yesterday, Coldplay arrived to São Paulo for the series of concerts the British band will play in the city. Fans eager to take photos and autographs were waiting for them at the international airport. Chris Martin and his bandmates, however, avoided the main exit. On the whole, just 15 people were at the airport to welcome Coldplay. This may be explained by the heavy rain or the secrecy involving the date of the band’s arrival. Preview the Brazil shows here [thanks Suzana Fong]

We arrived to the theater at 8.30 pm. Becky (i think that´s her name) explained us how it was gonna be: you say hi, they sign a picture and they´re gone. So I asked Can i talk to them? Yes, you´ll be able to talk to them. Great! So, we went upstairs to a little room with sofas, and glasses, a place to relax. I gave someone what i wanted them to sign: the first flyer from their first concert in 1998. So, Becky takes it and says "what is this??". I explain to her and she goes outside, where she

Coldplay and its entourage arrived at Faena Hotel on Saturday evening (17th February). Although it had been said that she would be in Buenos Aires, there was no sign of Gwyneth Paltrow, wife of singer Chris Martin. It is believed that Coldplay occupied fourteen rooms, all with a view of the river and they requested flowers, chocolate and orange juice and bilberry. At their first opportunity on Saturday night they sampled the delights of Argentine cuisine. They returned to one of the bars of
