Coldplay played a brief live television show on August 4th at the studios of, Canadian music channel Musiqueplus in Montreal.   The eight-song set, punctuated by frontman Chris Martin addressing the small invited audience in French, came ahead of today's (August 5) release of new single 'In My Place'. Coldplay has added 11 more shows onto its North American tour itinerary, which, as previously reported, gets underway Aug. 2 in Chicago. While the first eight dates will hit clubs and small theaters, the subsequent 11 shows will be held in larger theaters and amphitheaters.
