Coldplay have recorded a song for departing Radio 1 DJ, Fearne Cotton. Posted on the BBC website, 'Gone But Not F.Cotton' is simplistic Coldplay at top form. The lyrics are very light hearted and are meant as a reminder of Chris' (and the band's) time with Fearne and the melody is simply beautiful with four part harmonies and comparisons with 'Green Eyes' and 'Prospekts March'. A new Coldplay song title has been added to the PRS database, a copyright and performance rights organisation. Titles such as Mylo Xyloto in 2011 were registered on PRS before release. The apparent new song, On My Way Home could feature on Coldplay's next album, A Head Full Of Dreams or even on Rihanna's soundtrack for the new Dreamworks film, Home. Rumours of a new Coldplay video are spreading today after the website of Violet Hill director Asa Mader publicised a forthcoming direction for 'Cemeteries of London'.
