It would be so great if Coldplay would occasionally still make regular intimate shows for which you can buy tickets...or at least play smaller arenas as well. I was hoping that they play those in 2017 in Europe, but nope...At first I thought Frankfurt etc. were 'arenas' because of the names, but then i looked up the seat numbers and they really are huge stadiums !

Awww, sorry to hear that ! I think I remember back when you wrote a motivation letter for it and needed the reasons (if that was it ?) Good luck you two! When I wanted to go to the US for a research project, I initially applied to two programs as well and got rejected by both, and it made me very sad. But didn't give up and then I found another way to go there (and during the year I was there I went from never seeing Coldplay to seeing them 3 times !) So...don't ever give up ! @alisbe @anacaren08 (Oh, and don't waste your money on overpriced tickets on stubhub. Last year there were so many Coldplaying members offering tickets for sale at face value, I'm sure you will find it this year too !) By the way I think @coldplayisawesome may be able to say a word about graphic design !

I'm sorry Chicago had such a harsh experience at a concert (and then you of all people, with the back pain and all that ! it must have been terrible...) and amazed that you can still hold on to these good things. Cool that you like Periscope. I watched some at the beginning of this tour when we all were not yet sure what the setlist would be, but now these are a little bit too pixelated for my liking. I know the tour is very overproduced and commercial and as you know I'm an Oldplayer, but still shows like that do make you want to go back again. Even though they are not really the band I can identify with anymore, it just feels great because it is a collective celebration, and I want to have something good to look forward to in 2017, that's why I decided to buy another ticket. But I totally understand anybody who doesn't want to go again, and it's true that the 2017 tickets are even more expensive, which is a shame. Yeah, I wanted to write you too, I actually still wanted to make a playlist for you !

I am so sorry to hear that :( Yes, this tour is shamefully expensive ! I hope you find a good job soon and that you'll find a way to pay your bills. Also, don't give up just yet on the concert. Local radio stations often give away tickets, or sometimes websites like Coldplaying make sweepstakes too. Fingers crossed that you will find a way to attend a concert !

Funny ! This video was in my recommendations on YT yesterday as well. I have only listened to half of it so far but I wanted to post it too :D

Am I the only one who doesn't like Up&Up ? It's one of my least favorite songs on AHFOD. I dont like Chris's vocals and the refrain sounds very boring and uninventive to me (lyric-wise, it repeats the phrase 'we're gonna get it, get it together' wayyyy too often, and sound-wise I don't think the choir fits...) The only part I like about it are the Oooaaaaahhhs from Chris at the end, they always give me goosebumps.

I have a suspicion that does not include fees etc. I remember seeing $25-30 for the worst seats (nosebleeders) last year as well, but with fees even the worst seats were around $50...
