Regarding lucky fans, the kid next to me got her Paradise sheet music signed by Chris ! I was less lucky with my X&Y disc, but one cannot have everything :)

Regarding the setlist, I forgot Til Kingdom come during the soundcheck !!

By the way I would like to thank... - @pickles12 !!! She is the one who offered me a spot on her fan pass and later, when she knew she couldnt make it, sent me the fan pass so that I can go ahead with it. Without her this dream would not have come true ! So I noticed a lot of people liked my 'on the road' updates yesterday night. Do me a favor and look up HER posts and like them so that she gets some forum recognition for this too ! - the kind lady with her daughter (who probably won't read this, but still...) who saved me from a spot behind two tall women and basically gifted front row to me !!!

By the way Chris came up to my corner and danced and grinned right into my camcorder during one part of ASFOS, so nice, he tries to really make it a great show for everyone (@The Adversary - if he had known what I have written about this song in the Oldplaying thread, I don't think he would have done it :D)

I am so exhausted, every part of my body hurts and I have cramps in my right arm because of holding the cam up...but it was worth it ! :D At first I could hardly see anything because of tall people in front of me, but then a kind lady noticed I had trouble and ushered me to squeeze into her "corner" which she had with her kid - and I ended up directly at the walkway, close to the stage ! Nearly unobstructed view and Chris passed within inches ! :D

The setlist as I remember was: 1. Yellow 2. AOAL 3. HFTW 4. ASFOS 5. Up&Up 6. Clocks and the first five were soundchecked too

(Why is it so hard to find a coffeeshop in NYC that actually HAS a seating opportunity ??) Chris's vocals were spot on this time ! I counted at least 3 Buckin moments, and none with Guy... I don't know what was broadcast and what wasn't (they also filmed Clocks, so...) but I have recorded everything with a decent camcorder and I will upload this (and the soundcheck !) soon

Puuuugh close call !!! They went through the line to hand out plastic passes, but did not check ID. They asked "name" ? and I said the name of the person who gave me her fan pass...then she said "it's not on the list" They took a close look at the printed fan pass pdf and then debated what to do. When they found out I am just one person they just gave it to me :D

#SaveIBloomBlaum ! This is such a haunting and beautiful song. I know it is odd, but that only adds to its mysterious beauty :)

The only thing that could ruin my adventure now is if my fan pass won't be accepted cause its under a different name....oh please let the security not be so tight

Early use for the earplugs I bought for the Coldplay concert due to a crackpot sitting next to me loudly proclaiming stuff like "Jesus only had 24 chromosomes" and "9/11 is connected to the Bible" :D New York, New York... :)

I have ! But the 24 hour Starbucks in Times Sq turned out to have no seating and no restrooms ! :O Now I am wandering Times Sq where at least there is lots of police around. I need to ummm look for an alternative I think

We are rolling through Manhattan !!!! :D But wow it is more deserted here than I thought...hope I won't get mugged here on my way from Port Authority to Times Sq and then to Rockefeller Plaza

By the way I wanted to thank all of you again for joining so nicely in the discussion here...(and say sorry to those who wanna catch up with random Coldplay thoughts tmr and have to read so much other stuff ;)) Believe me, you are saving me from what would otherwise be a very boring trip. Feels almost like you are on the bus with me :D A cosy Coldplaying roadtrip

I know there is nothing wrong with being a Coldplay fan :) but lets say my family has a certain aversion against modern music...also, the fact that I take a Monday off from work to go to a rock concert far away which could worsen my cold would shock them LOL

We just made a break in Conneticut and got some coffee, yay

My family does not suspect I'm a Coldplay fan, so I hope all this stays between us :)
