Nick, I have a hanging tomato vine in my back yard that's doing quite well, but that's about all I bother to upkeep now. It should produce 5 good tomatoes if I'm lucky! And my brother has about 6 marijuana plants that he grows indoors, which requires a lot of electricity and a healthy dose of stupidity. They're about 8 months old now.

Nick, you're absolutely right, as usual. This bill will go down in history as what began America's steady decline into mediocrity. And the thing that annoys me is when people talk about how this will affect the "average" American. That's nonsense. The pain of this tax won't be applied evenly throughout the population - it will be focused on the lower class (higher gas prices) and those areas with manufacturing economies. Retail in these areas will stagnate as jobs are lost. But as I said, I hope it passes. I hope Obama signs it into law. Let the games begin, and maybe America will have it's Iran/Honduras moment. Or maybe we'll continue to sit on our asses and take it like the losers we are. Either way, the sooner the test comes, the better!

Now they suspect it was heart issues, because they checked for a blood clot and didn't find anything. As a gay man, I don't find David Beckham attractive at all. Watching Andy Murray play tennis, though... me-ow. :sneaky: I think if you poll teenage boys about what they'll find attractive, they'll all agree Megan Fox is hot (Josh, I'm looking at you). But I think as people get older (both men and women) their tastes change to be more inclusive and they appreciate imperfections as endearing, rather than off-putting.

There is no such thing as "public" property except in a statist society, where the government takes full control of some land and claims a nonexistent "right" to rule over all of it. Then we get into pesky debates about what rules we should impose on people who set foot on government land (as if we owned that land). If all property were private we wouldn't have this shit problem.
