a week ago, after not listening to X&Y for about a year and a half, i would have trash talked it saying the lyrics are horrible and they took the direction they explored with clocks in AROBBTH too far. but i put in on last friday just to give it another shot, in anticipation for VLV and wow. i wont rank it above AROBTTH and parachutes but its definitely a great album. except for the ocassional brain fart in chris' lyrics. (beginning of swallowed in the sea)
