Anybody who is saying Blueprint or Black Album are his best album needs to go out and buy Reasonable Doubt TODAY. You will love it.

Besides "Anything" and maybe "Show Me What You Got", name 1 below average song on this album. So much hate for Jay nowadays.

The Jay-Z album has leaked- and the song sounds very different than I expected. If you're not a fan of hip hop, you probably won't like it. Personally, Jay and Coldplay are two of my favorite artists/bands, so I love it. Chris sounds good on the hook. In the context of the rest of the album, it's the last track and has a great reflective feel to it.

Just checked out the album... very solid. If you like "Crazy", I'd definitely recommend it.

Not to dispute your opinion but: Trent Reznor said himself that Johnny Cash's cover affected him so deeply that he has not been able to listen to his own version.

I wouldn't buy one of her albums... but I respect her a lot. She's got a very unique voice.

Chris Martin has more money and fame than The Darkness could ever dream of. He's gotta be laughing his ass of this at this stupid publicity stunt. I have to admit... his comments on Bono are right on.

Roland- they caught him with his pants down in a public place.... :wink3: The line is: "They caught him with his case in a public place." "Roland" is about a drug dealer.

Well.... the first step is recognizing it. Although, I thought the lyrics on their first 2 albums were pretty good.

She sucks... but I'd hit that.

I'm surprised Fix You has been such a flop commercially. It is a great song (much better than most of the stuff on X&Y), and I thought it would catch the same audience that The Scientist did.

I don't think anyone thinks that X&Y sucks, I was just saying it's a disappointment. Parachutes and AROBTTH set very high standards, and X&Y is just good.

Bad example. "Lose Yourself" was a good song, whether or not like you like Eminem, rap, or the amount of radio play it got. The critics weren't wrong with X&Y. Rolling Stone is usually pretty terrible, but these 2 quotes perfectly desribe the album: "Whereas Rush of Blood was a nervy bid for bigness, X&Y is something less exciting. It's the serious sound of Martin trying to sing songs that match his stature. It's the sound of a blown-up band trying not to deflate." "Martin has talked about how hard he worked on this album, and it shows: Nothing on it sounds easy"

Glad to see that he's hurt by the reviews, because any Coldplay fan knows that they can make a much better album. Maybe this will push them to move away from the whole U2 approach next time. I still love Coldplay, but X&Y is uber average.
