Coldplay Live Amman 23/11/19 - iHeartRadio
Acoustic SJLT sounds much better than the Chainsmokers version so far! Well, not strictly Torontonian, but pretty close :)

Coldplay Live Amman 23/11/19 - iHeartRadio
Starting with Arabesque! Edit: WOW, they censored "same f*cking blood" by doing some weird skipping/reversing thing that totally messes up the flow of the song. Very disappointing.

Live at the Natural History Museum London 25 Nov 2019
Really sad to hear about how the concert turned out. 500 guest tickets and 300 fan tickets? What a farce.

I would be happy to wait for the concert to be uploaded rather than watch it live if it meant higher audio/video quality. But either way I'm super grateful! Thanks Stephen!!

Too bad that it seems not a single Coldplaying member got a ticket. Hopefully some lucky kind soul will record the evening and share it with us.

Everyday Life - Live in Jordan on YouTube 22 Nov
Just the Road to Jordan documentary so far I think. Maybe the VLV and Sparks performances will be premium?

I got the CD today and I found something really interesting. The album is officially out already, but I'll mark it as a spoiler anyway.

Everyday Life - Live in Jordan on YouTube 22 Nov
Wow, that was really good. Could tell Chris was having some voice troubles though. Arabesque was amazing. Sad they didn't use the sample in Trouble in Town but I guess they wanted to keep the livestream clean - Chris was singing "same damn blood" at the end of Arabesque. Let's hope for a blu-ray/CD release!

Really glad they're doing Viva and Sparks. Hopefully they won't be "premium-only" content.

If anyone here does get tickets, I'm sure those of us who can't fly overseas to catch the show would be ecstatic if you could share a recording ;)

Everyday Life Leak Discussion [SPOILERS INSIDE]
Here I go, jumping on the rank-the-albums-bandwagon. Sorry everyone. I acknowledge that I may be ranking EL higher than it really is, just cause it's so new and exciting. But: 1. Viva 2. EL / AROBTTH 4. Parachutes 5. Mylo 6. Ghost Stories / X&Y 8. AHFOD

Everyday Life Leak Discussion [SPOILERS INSIDE]
I agree completely. It helps along with the instrumental backing to build up a whole lot of tension which is perfectly released with "Why don't you shut up?" and Will kicking it up a notch.

Everyday Life Leak Discussion [SPOILERS INSIDE]
If anyone reading this is on the fence about listening to the leak, please consider listening to just Trouble in Town. I know it's early to say but it's honestly one of the best tracks the band's ever made. I'm so happy they made this track lol

Everyday Life Leak Discussion [SPOILERS INSIDE]
I'm usually a good boy about leaks but I couldn't resist this time. And wow.... this album really is something else. I never could have imagined a 2010s Coldplay album being this good, or a Coldplay album in general being this experimental. I know it's super early to say but just going off my first listen this album might slide in underneath Viva to be my 2nd favourite Coldplay album. I can't think of a song I dislike on the whole thing. Sunrise is amazing, Davide Rossi at his finest, I could say it's a bit long but I don't mind that much. I wonder how they'll play it live in Jordan, prerecorded strings or a totally different band arrangement? I think Church is really great, similar to Orphans in that it basically sounds like if AHFOD was good. Trouble in Town is one of the best tracks the band's put out, period. The recording in the with the police officer was totally unexpected but it's a super great addition to the atmosphere. The second half of Bani Adam is almost exactly what I was hoping we'd get with this album. Champion of the World is, in my opinions, one of those songs that could have come out terribly if the production was bad, and I'm glad it's not. Proper Oldplay stuff there. Wow, what an album. Trouble in Town is definitely the standout track for me but the whole album is amazing. I'm so glad Coldplay still have the ability in them to make, well, good music after AHFOD. And to those who say leaks hurt sales - listening to this is what convinced me to preorder the gold vinyl!

Interesting that the band is using a Mellotron for this album, I don't think they've used one since In My Place have they? Or was that even a Mellotron in the first place? More importantly, who cares? :joy:

Sad to see Sparks being put up against their big hits, they must have known before they put it up that it would lose because of the casual fans who have never heard of it. I have 5 YouTube accounts (don't ask why) so I'll vote once with each one. Yep!!! The illusion of fan interaction and a chance at a rare track played live, until it becomes obvious they'll play In My Place and Til Kingdom Come every night for eternity no matter what.

According to the description of the livestream will have ads if you don't have Youtube Premium, and no ads and "exclusive bonus footage" if you do. Sad to see that this bonus content is behind a paywall. Maybe there's some kind soul on this board with a subscription who feels like sharing it with the rest of us....

According to someone on the subreddit there'll be a Japanese deluxe edition with a bonus track called "Flags".

Also from the same interview, the band are going to do a live session for BBC Radio at Maida Vale studios in November!!! Arctic Monkeys did the same thing for their most recent album and that turned out AMAZING, so I'm looking forward to it!

It seems to me from the interview with Chris that the band have stopped worrying about commercial success, and are now just making what they feel like making. Sounds good to me!

Orphans - Sunset
I posted this on the album thread too but Genius.com lists Chris's son Moses as one of the writers of Orphans. Check it out: https://genius.com/Coldplay-orphans-lyrics

Oh my god, these tracks are amazing. Orphans is like AHFOD but good lmao. Arabesque is a killer. Can't wait for the album.
