AROBTTH is the album that has the first song I've ever heard from this Coldplay. I was about 8 years old while I was searching Super Mario releated videos on Youtube, since I was (and stil I am) a big fan, and I stumble upon this one called Mario:Back To The Start. As you can guess, the song present in the video was the Scientist. Keep in mind at that time I didn't really care for music and neither knew english very well aside from the basic (I'm portuguese btw for those who don't know), but the song really striked me at that time and became my favourite song, even though I didn't even knew that Coldplay was a band. It probably helped that the message of the video of this prohibit friendship between Mario and an enemy from the game and how Mario felt bad for the chaos he made and wanted to go back and restart everything moved me a lot at the time. And now that I'm older I can even get the political messeges present in the video! If you like both Super Mario and Coldplay I recomend that you watch this video if you haven't already!

I will have to wait till 10-12 of August to get my CD order from amazon, but I want it now so bad! :sob:

You're right that helps you focus on the sadder parts of the music. When I say "drepessing songs" I refer to those who touch on more heavy subjects. But what I love about this band is that you can have both something that conforts you on the bad days (GS) and inspire you on the best of times (AHFOD)

Wow man, I really needed this song right now! It's a turnning point from all of the more drepessing songs from CP I've been listening recently. :joy: Also, I'm really happy that they choose this as a new single, although I don't think it will be that popular unfortunately. I hope that I'm wrong though because I think this might be my favourite song form the EP.

I find it crazy that those exact verses fit so well to the situation described. And I agree, Amsterdam is amazing. It's easily on my top 5 favourite Coldplay songs, ending AROBTTH perfectly.

I'm just happy to know they will be back later. I was too late into Coldplay to have the chance to see them live for this tour(the fact that they didn't came to Portugal in the mean time didn't help). So in the next era I hope I can plan something even if it isn't my country.

Honestly this is better than I expected! I love the guitar part and although in the beginning I though the drum beat was a bit annoying, I started to get into it! Sean's part feels a bit..random? Like, I don't know, it's not that bad but not that good either? I guess I'll have to wait till we have a studio version for a full judgement. Also those Will vocals in the end sound so good, I always get so hyped when I hear Will singing :D

Another thing came in the mail last friday, but since I wasn't at home I only had the chance to get it monday. It's an AHFOD photoshoot poster. I framed it in my room with a frame handmade by my father. I also added my love button, brought by my father's friend from the last concert germany (and I wasn't there unfortunately :().

My thoughts exactly! For me, judging someone as generous or not is relative because a) you never know how much they really own ( and the numbers given in the article may not even be correct) and b) like @jc90 said it's not always about how much they give, but how much effort they give. You can certainly see that Chris is always ready to help charitys because he really belives that he's helping to build a better world. And in the end, isn't that what matters?
