Low just flat out sucks, if they had replaced that with any of the new bsides or better yet, How you See The World, id be elated.

yea....its miserable. A dude dates the moms of 3 girls, has to decide which one to date by that alone, cant see the girls. It might be the creepiest thing on television

Just watchin some late night TV, and from being pissed about seeing "Yellow" used on MTV's terrible show Date My Mom, my mood was lifted a bit to see that Jon Stewart (host of the Daily Show on Comedy Central) is a big fan of X&Y too. I think the quote was "If your mood can shift from 'I'm hungry' to 'I've failed everyone I've ever loved in my life', music is awesome. Particularly Coldplay's new album..." Hah...yea The Daily Show isn't really the mecca of music taste but, whatever any support is sweet

I watch this tournament every summer on a pretty much daily basis (being a student, summers off...Wimbledon is on throughout the whole day on ESPN2 so i dont have much else to do)...just wondering if any other tennis fans were out and about in the forums

Definitely lovin the album, best so far... BUT, I'm not really liking Low that much, I almost made it through the album without a skippable track before that one. The not quiet part of Swallowed in the Sea, The Hardest Part, White Shadows, and of course everyone's favorite Fix You emerge as highlights after a couple listens.

this is probably kind of an obvious question, but have the guys ever spoken up or visited these boards?? I'm a huge Ben Folds fan and he visited his fan boards a few times and it was pretty cool. But yeah just wondering if any of the Vets around here could answer...If no, then thatd be nuts if we could do that for a night or something, unfrigginbelievable

Over the summer I found this band Endochine from Austin, Texas, and the first time i heard them (and didn't know who it was) i thought it couldve either been Coldplay or Radiohead, but they just seemed to have a more Americanized harder edge to some guitars. They use the piano a good amount and are incredible at building their songs up progressively, going from quiet to loud (think Amsterdam). They're definitely worth checking out if you like Coldplay (which you do, seeing as how you're on this site). My favorite songs: Secret, A New Beginning, Music To Drive and Cry To (yea the title is...well whatever listen to it) but check em out http://www.endochine.com (feedback please!)

Yeah I'm freaking out about this album launch cause I have beach week when it comes out, and we leave June 6th. I heard that it was the 7th for the release and I was like "you have GOT to be kidding me..." X&Y would by far be the best graduation gift possible by far. I don't care what my friends say, I'm hijacking one of their cars at the beach and driving til I find some place that has it!
