Never actually listened to a Beatles album from beginning to end so this is interesting

In case anyone didn't know, Guy is doing a twelve week project on Instagram where he picks an album from his collection and listens to it from start to finish, encouraging his followers to do the same at the same time and comment what they think. @jc90 suggested we could also have a thread here to discuss the albums. This week's pick was Abbey Road by The Beatles and it starts at 8 pm UK time (which is pretty soon).

I had to do forty hours of community service to graduate high school. It ranged from very worthwhile experiences (serving meals at a local soup kitchen) to very boring experiences (shelving books at the library). So I think it depends on what you do, but it's all worth it, just some things more than others if that makes sense.

I'm so excited about this! I read awhile ago in the old Oracle questions that Guy was the only member that ever had a Facebook so I always thought that if someone in the band was going to be on social media it'd be him.

I doubt anyone will know this song but I was listening to New Year by Beach House and I noticed that there's a repeating part (first around 1:40) that sounds exactly like the first few notes of Mylo Xyloto. Beach House doesn't totally seem like the kind of band that would be inspired by Coldplay but New Year came out only a year later so I have to wonder if MX had some influence on it

It was just the tone of voice and the abruptness seemed almost like was trying to be funny in a sort of bold Chris way and usually he's the serious one but then he didn't smile after maybe he was drunk or something

I'm so confused by that lol it seems a bit out of character for him
