Parachutes: Everything's Not Lost is a little repetitive but I do like the bassline. Never quite understood the hype around Don't Panic. Nothing terrible here. AROBTTH: Amazing album except maybe Warning Sign or A Whisper X&Y: My favorite album but I do agree with the negative reviews of it for one song: A Message. And I feel like I'm starting to like Fix You less and less. VLVODAAHF: I don't understand what's so great about Death And All His Friends or Lovers in Japan (and I love Yes unpopular opinions) MX: Okay album with some bad songs: U.F.O. (not terrible), Up in Flames, DLIBYH Ghost Stories: Another's Arms is my least favorite Coldplay song. Enough said. AHFOD: Everglow, Army of One, Up&Up. I feel like I'm liking Newplay less and less. Now I feel weird after being so negative about Coldplay....

Same-Paradise was part of the reason it took me so long to really discover Coldplay...it was the only song I knew at the time since I just listened to whatever was on the radio and for some reason I hated it but I was still pretty young then. It's grown on me too but I see what you mean.

It took a few watches of the trailer but I finally realized what I liked about it: in all of the early scenes more than any other famous people somehow you can see they were just a bunch of normal guys. Especially Chris with the braces and acne makes it almost impossible to take seriously when he says how big Coldplay will get and Guy looks uncharacteristically dorky and seeing Jonny smoking and stuff made me realize I know so many people like him as a college student myself. Will's always looked the oldest to me but even him looking really young really got me and somehow it was like I just saw all four of them for who they were when they were before Coldplay.

True Love vs Lovers in Japan

I just watched the live version of Viva la Vida and was actually surprised to see smartphones since I'm so used to watching their old live performances. It was also weird knowing I was actually a fan when the concert happened. Time is really passing by...

Same I just went to college a few months ago and idk anyone that's a Coldplay fan here so I'm not sure if it would be weird to ask one of my friends

Just truly had a random Coldplay thought. The general public doesn't seem to know or care anything about the non-Chris members of Coldplay but then one of their most iconic song moments ever, the ohwoahohs during Viva la Vida, is like 90% Will? (Correct me if I'm wrong about this-it seems to be the case live at least)

I think Guy is such an underrated bassist. Yesterday I was at a store and a new song came on the radio. It was the bass at the beginning of All I Can Think About Is You and before I realized I was just thinking about how good the bass was and then I realized what the song was. Like I can see how some of his parts are pretty minimal but I don't understand how some people can think he really does nothing in any of their songs.

-Princess of China is the first Coldplay song I really loved (even if I don't like it as much anymore) -Green Eyes is the one I like to think I have a connection with since I have green eyes and they played it when I saw them in 2016 -In My Place is all my happy, nostalgic times -Yellow is my birth since it was released extremely close to when I was born -Viva la Vida is my childhood -I listened to Christmas Lights a lot around Christmas 2015 and something almost magically impossible happened to me and I always wonder about that song's connection -Hymn for the Weekend is my summers in between high school
