I think release of the live album/movie is still a long-distance run for now. As I read the full interview, small chance they will release it anytime before Christmas.

Your point is great ... but what about .... we will get 4 different versions / 4 concert legs .... 1. DVD - European Leg 2. DVD - Asian Leg 3. DVD - North American Leg 4. DVD - South/Latin American Leg It's just guess but just think about it! :)

Live 2014 Ghost Stories: November 2014

Now, it's obvious they will release the movie at the earliest in July. ... but I don't think they will release it in summer months, when everyone is out, on vacations etc. :cool: So it's more likely, they will release the movie September - November 2018. :rolleyes:

When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. Then Coldplay will release live album & movie and not before. :sun:

This Friday - 06.04.2018 - there will be cover from Coldplay of "We All Fall In Love Sometimes" by Elton John. So this week we can't expect to see some LIVE ALBUM information/announcement because it would be overshadowed by this event. :-)

a lot of people didn't like the fact they have a dance song with The Chainsmokers ... but see how much views on YouTube the song has versus other songs from Kaleidoscope EP or A Head Full of Dreams. There is always a chance their next album will appear in late 2019 or early 2020 before Grammys and Brit Awards (big promo for them). I don't see much likely that we would have another album after 5 years since the previous one (AHFOD late 2015 -> LP8 late 2020?), it's a loooonng time & the band doesn't last so long without music - they are very creative types. There's also the chances he lied a little in the interview - Chris said there will be lot of surprises now from them, I don't know how you - but I don't trust them very much this long pause.
