  1. I understand what you try to say. X&Y is one shitty record when i think back of it. VLV is nothing more then a feel-good record in my opinion. It's way better then X&Y, but not a masterpiece. It feels and hears so commercialized. Prospekt's March EP the same. Not bad, but i can't listen for more then once a week. Coldplay has become a milk factory... Now Parahutes & A Rush of Blood To The Head, now that were really fantastic albums. That's where my current history and choice of music all started when i was 14 years old. But after AROBTTH it went downhill.
  2. i lolled so hard with all the fanboys & girls in this thread. Coldplay have achieved a lot in a few years, but what i read from some people here is complete b*llsh*t. VLV so original? Lol no, why? because there are some bells en multiple backing vocals doens't mean it's so utterly original. It's just the same old repeat of a good cathchy pop tune & some decent lyrics. I agree, coldplay have the ability to make some very good pop tunes with better lyrics than the rest of crap you hear on omgwtfbbq MTV en radiostations, but comparing them and saying they're better and more innovating then Radiohead is just playing dumb. What Radiohead did is unbelievable. Without any doubt one of most innovating bands since Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd etc.. Hearing OK Computer (1997) makes records from today still sound so fucking broing & unorignal. Then Kid A, whatever people say VLV is advanced and innovating, listin to Kid A & Amnesiac... & prepare to sh*t your pants... And then the lyrics... Thom yorke's lyrics just go into your spirit & to the back of your spine. The music is so much more subtle en emotional... Now you can start attacking me ;-)
  3. Radiohead. When i first listen to OK Computer or any other radiohead album, coldplay seem so superficial and easy. Coldplay are genious in what they do, making ejoyable music for a very large market. But they can't compare Radiohead.
  4. The difference is just a digipack of a jewelcase, nothing else.
  5. Hmmm disappointing performance to be honest.
  6. I ordered 4, for myself and 3 friends. And my brother bought one for his own on his account.
  7. Sorry for my late reply. :) Anyway, i've got 5 standingplaces of € 54. (Believe me when i say that the € 40 standingplaces are worthless, it's at the highest balcony) Didn't have much trouble because of coldplayfans.be had the emergency link. For Public Transportation, Busses from and to antwerp always drive longer in the weekend, to my house the last bus departs at 1.30. You need to estimate that you'll leave the venue around midnight if you're lucky.
  8. This bad boy will be there :D Hope ticketsales won't f*ck again like last time...
  9. So your are saying that it's even better then A Night At The Opera, Ok Computer, Grace, Dark Side of The Moon etc .. ? :-o
  10. euh n/o but a cd like Queen - Innuendo not in the top 5 is a real shame!
