did you guys know that albert hammond jr. is going to release a solo album only in the uk!, but don;t worry the band isn't splitting up. Albert now has a myspace profile previewing his solo work (The Album Yours To Keep is out October 9th in the UK only). Strokes' manager Ryan Gentle runs the profile. i think its very cool, also it has some songs from in transit, like Obstinate that is now called In Transit.

awsome band, saw them last year in west palm beach fl, it was amazing, my favorite song is #41, but i love everything they do, although i prefer their older work still, i support them, they are amazing live ! . Dave Rocks! :)

In Your opinion wich of the two x & y viedos is the best, Fix You or Speed of Sound, i think that speed of sound is great, it reflects the new wave of the band, but the end of fix you blows me away...

I agree with you each of them have their own style, but parachutes still stands up, altough A Rush.. is awsome and i'm starting to get the feeling of x & y

hey guys, i was cheking the iTunes music store, and there is a session of the Live 8 Concerts, and the setlist for each one, are these setlist what they think thats going to be , or are these the real ones, it says that coldplay will be preforming Speed of Sound only..I thaught that they were going to play a cupple more...is this real? :huh:

I like better the leaked version, its more Coldplay i think..although i also like the album versiom, x & y us great :)

hey, My name is Edwin, i'm from the Dominican Republic, i'm kinda new and I actually don;t know a lot of the site, but the little i've seen, so far so great.!

Here in the Dominican Republic, Coldplay is considered one of the best bans in the world, i think there new sound is great its diferent form "A Rush" and "Parachutes" but it has the essential Coldplay in it..songs like the "the hardest part".."x & y"..and the single "speed of sound" reflect it..they improve therselves everytime..although i haven't had the chance to see them live i bought "Live 2003"..and it schoks me, the intensity of their music and the pasion of it. X & Y is great..go coldplay :)
